The eighth Trondheim Conference on CO2 Capture, Transport and Storage was opened by SINTEF’s vice president for climate technologies, Dr Nils Røkke this morning.

This year’s conference has 350 delegates from 26 countries, and comprehensive programme highlighting CCS science. This includes 138 oral presentations with 10 keynote presentations and six parallel sessions. Also, more than 100 posters will be presented.

Dr Røkke was proud to emphasize the conference’s scientific level. He pointed to CCS as vital technology to limit the global warming to two degrees.
