Increasing the pace of decarbonization with industrial flexibility
Instead of building new grid, utilizing flexibility in industrial processes could be a cheaper and faster way of integrating variable power production.
Results for a smarter electricity grid gathered on a single website
Sharing knowledge is important to achieving an electricity grid that is flexible, intelligent, robust and cost-efficient. CINELDI’s research results are now presented in an open-access knowledge base online, which will make the process of finding updated information much easier.
Cyber security in cyber-physical electricity grids
Cyber security was the theme in a joint workshop in CINELDI and SFI NORCICS.
One step closer to a self-healing grid
We have developed two novel methods that can be used to accurately locate earth faults in isolated systems.
Protecting the real electrical grid by attacking a simulated one
In an increasingly digital society, protecting the electrical grid against cyberattacks has never been more important. As part of the European project SDN-microSENSE, SINTEF has helped develop tools to detect and mitigate cyberattacks, but they need to be tested before they can be deployed in the real grid. The solution? Deploy the tools in a simulated grid and launch real cyberattacks at them.
