Hydrogen a key focus of Norwegian-European agreements to strengthen collaboration on renewable energy

Hydrogen has been a focus of two recent collaboration agreements between Norway and Europe: the Ostend Declaration and the Green Alliance. The intention behind both is to strengthen collaboration between Norway and European countries on renewable energy, with a particular focus on the North Sea.

Hydrogen and Materials Integrity Workshop

On 6 and 7 of June, HYDROGENi partners SINTEF and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) together with Kyushu University will host an international workshop on material integrity in the hydrogen value chain.

The workshop will take place at Gløshaugen in Trondheim, and gather leading research communities in Europe, as well as experts from Japan and Brazil.

Registration deadline is 26 May.

Ammonia: From cleaning product to maritime fuel

Ammonia
A lot of our work at HYDROGENi focuses on ammonia. Today, ammonia is perhaps best known as a foul-smelling chemical used in cleaning products. In the future, it might also be widely used as a maritime fuel!

Postdoc position in Blue Hydrogen Production

The Department of Chemical Engineering has a vacancy for a postdoctoral fellow in blue hydrogen production. This position will be part of HYDROGENi. The deadline for applications is 12 May.
