Extended deadline for abstracts

19th Deep Sea Offshore Wind R&I Conference
19 – 21 January 2022

Based on popular request, the deadline for abstract is extended to 1 November.


We are excited to welcome you to EERA DeepWind'2022. It will be a hybrid conference with flexibility for speakers and attendees to attend either physically at the conference in Trondheim, Norway, or digitally through a professional online conference system.
The programme will include a mix of plenary presentations with broad appeal and presentations in parallel sessions or by posters on specific offshore wind science and technology themes.
Boost your professional profile and recognition by submitting an abstract addressing any of the topics in the programme.

The conference topics are:

  • New turbine and generator technology
  • Grid connection and power system integration
  • Met-ocean conditions
  • Operation & maintenance
  • Installation and sub-structures
  • Wind farm optimisation and control
  • Experimental testing and validation
  • Sustainable development
The abstract should not exceed 500 words. See details for submission at the conference web (link https://www.deepwind.no/call-for-abstracts/)
Preparation of full papers is optional. These will go through a full peer-review and successful submissions will be published on-line in the IOP Journal of Physics. There will be an award for best poster.
EERA DeepWind'2022 is an international event aiming to present the best research and innovation related to deep sea offshore wind farms, both bottom-fixed and floating. The conference has been developing every year since 2004, and is established as an important venue on deep sea offshore wind R&I organized by SINTEF, NTNU and EERA JP wind.
