EERA DeepWind 2023 – Call for abstracts

We are excited to invite all interested wind power scientists to submit an abstract for the 20th anniversary edition of the EERA Deepwind offshore wind research and innovation conference, which will be held in Trondheim 18-20 January 2023.

Emphasis in the programme is on sustainable wind development, digital twin technology, floating wind and large scale integration.

EERA DeepWind 2023 is an international event aiming to present the best ongoing research and innovation related to deep sea offshore wind farms, both bottom-fixed and floating. The conference has been developing every year since 2004, and is established as an important venue on deep sea offshore wind R&D organized by SINTEF, NTNU and EERA JP wind.

As always, the programme will include a mix of plenary presentations with broad appeal and presentations in parallel sessions or by posters on specific offshore wind science and technology themes.

Boost your professional profile and recognition by submitting an abstract addressing any of the topics in the programme.

Conference topics are:

  • New turbine and generator technology
  • Grid connection and power system integration
  • Met-ocean conditions
  • Operation & maintenance
  • Installation and sub-structures
  • Wind farm optimisation
  • Experimental testing and validation
  • Wind farm control systems
  • Sustainable wind development
The abstract should not exceed 500 words. A link to the presentation portal will be published soon on the EERA DeepWind website
