PhD Scholarship holder Amir Hayati Soloot defended the 14th March 2017 his thesis entitled “Resonnant Overvoltages in offshore wind farms. Analysis, modeling and measurement” successfully to earn the degree of PhD in Electric Power Engineering at the Department of Electric Power Engineering, NTNU.

NOWITECH congratulates!

The following committee evaluated his thesis, trial lecture and defence:

  • Professor Joachim Holbøll, DTU
  • PhD Bendik Storesund, Haugalands Kraft
  • Professor Arne Nysveen, Department of Electric Power Engineering, NTNU

His trial lecture was held on the topic  “Wind farms connected to weak grids – challenges and solutions?”

Amirs main supervisor has been Professor Hans Kristian Høidalen.
