Dr Disputas, Amir Hayati-Soloot

Amir Hayati-Soloot has submitted his thesis entitled:
“Resonnant Overvoltages in offshore wind farms. Analysis, modeling and measurement”
in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of PhD in Electric Power Engineering at the Department of Electric Power Engineering, NTNU.

The following committee has been appointed to evaluate his thesis, trial lecture and defence:

Professor Arne Nysveen, Department of Electric Power Engineering, NTNU is appointed as the administrator for the assessment committee.

The trial lecture will take place in Disputasrommet, Main Building, Gløshaugen, 14 March from 10:15 on the following given topic:

“Wind farms connected to weak grids – challenges and solutions?”

The defence will take place in Disputasrommet, Main Building, Gløshaugen, 14 March from 13:15.

The trial lecture and defence are public and anyone interested is invited to attend.
Amir Hayati-Soloot carried out his PhD work at the Department of Electric Power Engineering.

His main supervisor has been Professor Hans Kristian Høidalen
