Webinar: Hydrogen from Norwegian Natural Gas to Decarbonise Europe & Norway

Authors: Simon Roussanaly, Sintef Energy Research & Catherine Banet, Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law.

To reach the net zero emission goal, Europe needs to introduce hydrogen as a low-carbon fuel for heating, cooling, transport and industrial processes. Converting Norwegian natural gas to low-carbon footprint hydrogen through reforming and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is a necessary technology to reach this goal.

SINTEF Energy Research and University of Oslo organise a webinar on “Hydrogen from Norwegian natural gas to decarbonise Europe and Norway” on June 24 from 0900-1200.

The aim of this event is to bring together stakeholders required to enable hydrogen from Norwegian natural gas to decarbonise Europe and Norway. In particular, key findings and recommendations on technology, markets, necessary policies and regulatory requirements development from the ACT Elegancy project and other Norwegian project will be presented.
